Sam McDonald Claims Brilliant Victory
Sunday, 26th July 2026

A steady, metronomic morning of racing defined the 25 mile TT on the F14/25. Promoted by St Neots CC, the lack of wind meant that the circuit offered no gifts and no excuses. From the start line, it was a lonely, standard-issue battle against the watch that saw the favorites hold their positions with predictable accuracy.

Early in the day, Noel Toone set the benchmark with a time of 01:13:58, throwing down the gauntlet to the rest of the field.

The leaderboard didn't stay static for long, as Samuel Kitto stormed through the finish to lower the best mark to 00:57:58.

Ultimately, it was Sam McDonald who proved to be the class of the field today. pacing his effort perfectly to stop the clock at 00:53:01 and take the win.

Paul Pardoe put in a valiant ride to secure 2nd place with a time of 00:53:38, while Richard Golding rounded out the podium in 3rd (00:57:50).

In the Women's category, Carolyn Pfalzgraf took top honors with a fantastic time of 01:07:00. Hayley Moore followed in second place (01:11:53).

The battle of the Road Bikes saw Samuel Kitto emerge victorious, clocking 00:57:58. Tom Walton chased hard to take the runner-up spot in 01:00:22.

A special mention goes to Pete Trotman, who produced the ride of the day relative to his handicap, beating his predicted time by +104s.
