Paul Pardoe Claims Hard-Fought Victory

Even with a light drizzle and a moderate breeze, the 10 mile TT on the N1/10 delivered a fair contest. Promoted by Fenland Clarion CC, the event maintained its traditional rhythm of one-minute intervals. As riders departed the start line, the weather proved to be a minor factor, with the final results closely mirroring the pre-race predictions.

Early in the day, Loic Foskolos set the benchmark with a time of 00:25:34, throwing down the gauntlet to the rest of the field.

The leaderboard didn't stay static for long, as Chris Bradbury stormed through the finish to lower the best mark to 00:23:02.

Ultimately, it was Paul Pardoe who proved to be the class of the field today. pacing his effort perfectly to stop the clock at 00:20:35 and take the win.

Jamie Murray put in a valiant ride to secure 2nd place with a time of 00:21:36, while Dan Whitehouse-Smith rounded out the podium in 3rd (00:22:17).

In the Women's category, Sarah Kelman took top honors with a fantastic time of 00:25:37. Lindsay Clarke followed in second place (00:26:04).

The battle of the Road Bikes saw Chris Bradbury emerge victorious, clocking 00:23:02. Richard Lamb chased hard to take the runner-up spot in 00:24:26.

A special mention goes to John Robinson, who produced the ride of the day relative to his handicap, beating his predicted time by +174s.
