The air felt like velvet—and just as thick. Promoted by Kettering CC, the 10 mile TT on the N3/10 required a massive intake of oxygen to stay on pace. As each rider rolled away from the start line, they found a course that gave nothing away, resulting in a series of "honest" times that matched expectations.

Early in the day, Tyler Dyson set the benchmark with a time of 00:25:08, throwing down the gauntlet to the rest of the field.

The leaderboard didn't stay static for long, as Matt Costall stormed through the finish to lower the best mark to 00:23:19.

Ultimately, it was Sam McDonald who proved to be the class of the field today. pacing his effort perfectly to stop the clock at 00:21:14 and take the win.

David Mead put in a valiant ride to secure 2nd place with a time of 00:21:17, while Daniel Chambers rounded out the podium in 3rd (00:21:59).

In the Women's category, Lindsay Clarke took top honors with a fantastic time of 00:26:36. Zoe Shepherd followed in second place (00:29:34).

The battle of the Road Bikes saw Carl Dyson emerge victorious, clocking 00:22:49. Matt Costall chased hard to take the runner-up spot in 00:23:19.

A special mention goes to Joe Matthews, who produced the ride of the day relative to his handicap, beating his predicted time by +61s.
