- The name of this body, hereinafter called the Association, is the Northampton & District Cycling Association.
- The purpose of the Association is to promote events in accordance with Rules and Regulations of the governing bodies in England and Wales, both for its member clubs, individual members and fully open competition together with the furtherance of the sport and pastime of cycling.
- Any club affiliated to the Controlling Bodies for the sport in England and Wales shall be eligible for membership, subject to the Rules.
- The management of the Association shall be vested in a Management Committee recruited from the affiliated clubs and individual members consisting of the President, Chairman, General Secretary, Racing Secretary, Points Recorder and Treasurer and such number of additional members as the Annual General Meeting shall from time to time determine.
- The Annual Meeting shall have the power to make such rules for the conduct of the Association (to be termed the Association rules) and such rules for the conduct of events (to be termed the Racing Rules) as they may deem expedient, and amend or rescind the same from time to time. Such rules and racing rules shall bind all members of the Association.
- This constitution may be amended only by a resolution submitted to the member clubs of the Association and of which at least twenty-one days notice shall be given. Voting shall be by show of hands at a meeting called to consider the amendments and a majority of two-thirds of the delegates voting shall be required.
